SHILLONG: The Monitoring cum Implementation Committee organised a Pre-Durga, Lakshmi and Kali Puja ‘get together of harmony’ on Sunday.
The programme was attended by various puja committees, church committees, members of Dorbar Shnong, NGOs under 19 South Shillong Constituency at the Raid Laban Sports Social & Cultural Organisation Community Hall, Kench’s Trace.
Prayer service was performed by Rev Pastor TC Marak, and Pandit Hrishikesh Acharjee.
Chief guest Sanbor Shullai, MLA, Committee President, handed over financial support including display banners to various puja committees under South Shillong constituency sanctioned through his MLA salary amounting to Rs 6 lakh.
