GUWAHATI: The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has allotted to Meghalaya its quota of tickets for the one-day international (ODI) cricket match between India and the West Indies to be played on October 21 at the ACA Cricket Stadium at Barsapara here.

Sources at the Meghalaya Cricket Association informed that the limited number of tickets allotted to the state for purchase include those for the West Stand First Floor (Rs 1750), West Stand  Ground Floor (Rs 2500), East Stand 2nd Floor (Rs 1250), East Stand 1st Floor (Rs 1750), North Stand Ground Floor (Rs 4500; North Stand 2nd Floor (Rs 2250), North Stand Top Floor (Rs 1750), South Stand 2nd Floor (Rs 2000) and South Stand Ground Floor (Rs 4000).

“People interested in the tickets can deposit the amount with the treasurer of Meghalaya Cricket Association within 6pm on October 9 at the office of the association at JN Stadium Complex, Polo Shillong,” an MCA statement issued on Monday said.

MCA secretary, Naba Bhattacharjee said that the limited time given for purchase of the tickets has been prompted by the fact that online sale of tickets would start from October 11, following which no quota for Meghalaya could be availed.
