Border sentinels of India, B’desh hold friendly match

SHILLONG: A friendly volleyball match was organised between Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) at Dalu Government Higher Secondary school ground on Wednesday.
The Commanding Officer of 39 BGB along with senior officers from sector head quarter Mymensingh, Bangladesh and Commandant 75 Bn BSF, Second-In-Command and senior officer and troops of BSF as well as locals were present during the match.
BSF and BGB have adopted certain measures to improve relations for effective border management between the border guarding forces.
These measures include meeting frequently at grass root level to resolve the local issues and conduct of friendly matches.
More than 300 people including prominent personalities of the area witnessed the match.
