SHILLONG: Nongkrem MDC and KHADC chief HS Shylla has said he will neither contest the 2019 council election nor the Lok Sabha polls if four of his demands are fulfilled.
“After these four (issues on lineage bill, ILP, building bylaws, sub-ordinate council of traditional chief and headmen) get fulfilled, it is more than enough for me,” he told reporters on Monday.
He added that he has contributed to the uplift of the indigenous community after he took up the four issues and said it was up to the MLAs to settle the matter.
