SHILLONG: Police in West Garo Hills (WGH) recently arrested a person after recovering substantial amount of arms and ammunitions from his possession
Acting on a tip-off about the movement of one Chuang to procure arms and ammunition for committing crimes, police conducted naka checking at Nengkalgre village in West Garo Hills recently
During the checking, police detected one Rak K Sangma (24) from an MTC Bus and recovered one 7.65mm pistol, one magazine, three live rounds of 7.65mm of ammunition, ½ kg suspected explosive materials, two detonators with wires and one mobile phone, from his possession.
