JOWAI: The Jaintia Tribal Trading Association (JTTA) has raised an objection against the company V Mart to setup its big bazar like market in Ladthadlaboh, Jowai.
JTTA President, Iatha Najiar said the setting up of such a big market will affect local tribal traders in Jowai.
In 2014 -15 we requested all the headmen and the local durbar not to issue any objection certificate to any non-tribal big company to set up their business in Jowai.
In this regard, the JTTA also met the CEM, JHADC and assured them that a proper enquiry will be set up by the JHADC for issuing trading cicense to the company.
