SHILLONG: The UDP Pynursla circle through UDP East Khasi Hills decided to send to the party’s central body names of two candidates to contest the council polls in 2019 from Nongshken and Lyngkyrdem-Laitkroh.
In a meeting on Wednesday, UDP Pynursla decided to send the names of Lutphar Dkhar for Nongshken constituency and Ryngkatlang Lyndem to contest from Lyngkyrdem-Laitkroh. Party sources said the candidates assured at the meeting to maintain their principles and remain in the party.
