Suspected ultra held in Mizoram

Aizawl: A suspected insurgent was arrested near Laki hamlet in southernmost Saiha district of Mizoram last evening and arms and ammunition seized from his possession. Police said the newly-formed Mara People’s Army ultra was held from a jungle near Laki hamlet. The police seized one US-made M-16 rifle, 156 rounds of ammunition, two magazines and two walkie-talkies from the arrested person. (PTI)
