Applications invited
The Sub-Divisional Officer (Supply), Mairang Civil Sub-Division invited applications for fresh appointment of Government nominees/wholesalers in PDS under Mairang for the year 2019 for approved wholesale centres namely; Mairang, Nongthliew, Nongkhlaw, Kynshi and Dongki Ingding. Prescribed application forms are available in the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer and the duly filled in application should be submitted to the same on or before November 20.
Training
A two-day Production-focused training programme on making of detergent, repellants, shampoo and umbrellas, was conducted for Women Self-help Group by Garo Hills-based NGO, Bakdil at Zikzak Block in South West Garo Hills on Wednesday and Thursday.
Trekking
3rd Meghalaya Trekking and Caving Expedition by Youth Hostels Association of India, Meghalaya State Branch will commence from November 2-13. The programme will be flagged off by the DC, PS Dkhar on the premises of Government Youth Hostel 7:30 at 7:30 am on Saturday.
