SHILLONG: The central government and the state government under the Health and Family Welfare Department will conduct an Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization drive from February 20 onwards in the whole state.
This is being done to protect all the children below five years of age with oral polio vaccine. There will be booth activity on this day. In this regard, parents are requested to cooperate and ensure that not a single child is left uncovered by bringing all under-five children to the nearest polio booth.
