AP CM administers polio drops to children

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy administered pulse polio drops to children at the camp office on the occasion of ‘National Immunisation Day’ on Sunday.

The Chief Minister said Andhra Pradesh was polio-free state since 2008 and appealed to work with the same spirit to achieve zero polio status across the country by 2012.

The first round of ‘pulse polio’ started today, while the second round will begin on April 1, this year, an official statement said. (PTI)
