Tyngson discusses problems with mobile phone operators

SHILLONG: Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong on Thursday called the mobile telephone service operators in the state to discuss and address the ongoing problems faced by the public in relation to the basic services on the offer.

After due deliberation, the private operators’ consortium agreed to submit a joint proposal to the government highlighting the key areas that need the attention of the government for necessary redressal.

Prestone Tynsong thanked all those present including Daniel Thangkhiew OSD to the Chief Minister and Allantry Franklin Dkhar Political Adviser & Secretary to the Chief Minister and requested the service providers to update the government on a quarterly basis , as a measure to ensure better services to the public in the state as a whole.
