Workshop

The North Eastern Industrial & Technical Consultancy Organization Ltd. (NEITCO) under the sponsorship of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India will hold a one-day workshop on “Mentoring and Monitoring of Export Oriented Projects under Export Development Fund (EDF) for North Eastern Region” at Shillong Club on February 27.

Dental check-up

The Rotary Club Orchid City organised a free dental check up and the awareness camp at William Lewis Boys’ Home Mawphlang, an orphanage of the Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Assembly, on February 18. The check up camp was conducted by Dr Mawrie.

Seminar

The North East Research Centre (NERC), VV Giri National Labour Institute, Noida are jointly organizing a national seminar on “Labour and Employment Trends in North-Eastern Region Challenges & Opportunities” on March 27 and 28.

Procession

The annual Eucharistic Procession, 2012 of St John’s Church Laban Parish will be held on February 26 at Laban. The Holy Mass will be held at 9.30am and the procession at 1.30pm.

Awareness prog

Meghalaya Science Society Tura in collaboration with the District School Education Office of Williamnagar organized a Chemistry Awareness Programme at Rongrenggre Govt. Higher Secondary School on Wednesday as a part of the celebration of the International Year of Chemistry 2011. The organization was unable to organise it last year in view of the term-end examinations.
