SHILLONG: A truck (ASO1CC–6029) moving towards Guwahati and another truck (MLO4A–1719) coming from the opposite direction towards Shillong were involved in a head on collision near Pynbianglang Petrol Pump at Mawlai Mawiong on Friday.
The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance (ESA) based at Civil Hospital, Shillong admitted Jostly Warpih (27/male) to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
In another incident, a helper of a truck sustained injuries after he was hit by another truck coming from behind at Umling, Ri Bhoi District on Friday at 9:07am. The helper was standing on the footboard of the truck when the incident took place. The 108 ESA based at Byrnihat admitted Simon Phanbuh (22/male) to Nongpoh Civil Hospital and then to Shillong Civil Hospital.
A Mahindra Xylo (ASO1AV–0012) on its way to Guwahati from Shillong was involved in a head on collision with a dumper truck at Shang Bangla, Ri Bhoi District recently. The 108 ESA based at Byrnihat admitted Upen Borah (55/male) to Civil Hospital, Nongpoh and then to Guwahati Medical College, Guwahati.
