SHILLONG: The governor has appointed EW Nongrum, director (generation) of Meghalaya Power Generation Corporation Limited, as full-time chairman and managing director of Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited and its three subsidiaries.
With Nongrum’s appointment, Chief Secretary Y Tsering was relieved of his function as CMD of Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited and the three arms.
