Arrests
On December 15, Pilas Lyngkhoi (35) of Mawpen village (East Khasi Hills) was arrested in connection with a kidnapping case under Mawsynram Police Station.
Another person, Ristarlin Lyngkhoi (34) of Pungkung village, was also arrested on the same day in connection with an assault case under Mawsynram Police Station.

Pickpocketing
Kyrshanbor Wanswett lodged a complaint that on December 13, John Rani stole his wallet while he was standing in a queue at GPO, Shillong.

Man assaulted
Syrpaimi Suchiang lodged a complaint that on December 9 around 5 pm, Payadaki Wahlang assaulted the complainant and threatened him with dire consequences at Langkyrding Mihngi, Block-IV, Shillong.
