NEW YORK: The son of slain US Senator Robert Kennedy is facing misdemeanor charges stemming from a confrontation with two nurses that occurred as he was trying to take his newborn baby for fresh air, his attorney said.

Douglas Kennedy, 44, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of harassment following the January 7 incident at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York, his lawyer, Robert Gottlieb, said.

Kennedy, a Fox News reporter and 10th child of Robert and Ethel Kennedy, maintains he did nothing wrong. He was arraigned on Thursday in Mount Kisco on the charges, Gottlieb said. (UNI)
