SHILLONG: Six teams including home favourites Royal Wahingdoh would battle it out in the final round of the 2nd Division I-League which is scheduled to start from March 3.

The teams would face each other twice in the final round which is divided into two legs.

The first leg would be held at Siliguri, West Bengal while the second would be played at Gangtok, Sikkim.

Royal Wahingdoh would play its first match against Goa Vasco SC on March 10.

Wahingdoh had secured a berth in the final round after ending topping group B in the preliminary round. Two other teams from Meghalaya, Langsning SC and Ar-Hima FC failed to make the cut. Especially disappointing was Ar-Hima’s performance as they had a good chance of making it to the next round but failed due to some shabby performances towards the end of the tournament.
