Garo educationist passes away

Tura: Former Secretary of MBOSE and a noted educationist who has penned many a book in Garo, Kenneth M Momin, passed away after a prolonged illness in Tura on Tuesday night. Fondly called Saljong-pa, the noted author and educationist had been ailing for many months. He was 77. Late Momin was an active member of the A’chik Literature Society and gave many an invaluable service to strengthening of the language. He was born on September 11, 1934.
