Meghalaya ppper primary teachers seek resolution of pending demands

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers’ Association  (MUPSTA),State Level expressed its gratitude to Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma for release of the pending arrears from September – December 2016 before the Christmas Festival of 2018.

Organising-cum-Publicity Secretary MUPSTA, E.G. War said the association had a meeting with the Chief Minister in the conference at Asanang, Tura on July 27, 2018 and on October 30, 2018 at his office Chamber at Secretariat, Shillong.

The association has requested all the Heads of the Schools to approach the SDSEOs office  to get clarification if they have not yet received the said arrear.

On the other hand, the Association is expecting that the Government through the office of the Chief Minister will call the Association for discussion regarding the pending demands for upgrading all the (Improved & Adhoc) Upper Primary Schools to a deficit pattern/ System in the whole state of Meghalaya.

At the same time, the Association is hopeful that the meeting with the Government  will take place soon before  the Spring/ Budget Session 2019.
