One killed in road mishap
On January 4, one unknown vehicle knocked down Moris Rapsang at 6th Mile in Upper Shillong. Rapsang succumbed to his injuries.

Fraud
Banri Nongkhlaw lodged a complaint stating that two persons identified as Mujabir Sheikh and Prashant Tudu cheated her of Rs 23,340 by falsely informing her that she had won a Flipkart contest and that she needed to deposit the money to claim the Prize.
Monam Singh lodged a complaint stating that one unknown person cheated her of Rs 44,500 with a promise to provide her an online loan from Shriram Finance Ltd.
Iadarilang Tiewsoh lodged a complaint stating that monetary transactions amounting to Rs 5,44,652.30p had been made from her account at Bank of Baroda, without her knowledge or approval.

Theft
Arjun Joshi, CCTV Maintenance Team, PCR lodged a complaint stating that on January 8 around 6:30 am, unknown miscreants had stolen one Inverter, a D-Link switch and the CCTV pole’s extension board at Jaiaw Pdeng.
Holly G Momin lodged a complaint stating that on January 6, unknown miscreants had stolen one laptop from her residence at Chinapatty in Malki.
