Alethea Kordor Lyngdoh lodged a complaint that she was notified that five unauthorized ATM transaction amounting to Rs. 38,718 had been made from her SBI account Secretariat Branch, Shillong.
Assault
Dr. B. Lipon of Ialong Civil Hospital (WJH) lodged a complaint that Iska Suna (36) was taken to Civil Hospital, Ialong, after she was assaulted by her husband , Shain Phawa at Khliehtyrshi village (WJH). Later, the victim was referred to NEIGRIHMS.
Bike gutted
Iohbor Nongdkhar lodged a complaint that on January 15, he found a motorcycle (ML-05Q-0036) which was parked opposite MCAB, Shillong Branch was completely gutted.
Theft
Ruhul Amin lodged a complaint that on January 5, while he was travelling with his uncle Md. Sher Ali on his bike and on reaching Rangtapgre village (WGH), unidentified miscreants stopped them, forcibly blindfolded them and took them to a jungle. Later, on reaching Dandaregre village around 7.30 pm, they were rescued by the residents of the area. However, the miscreants managed to flee after looting them of Rs. 15,000/- and one cell-phone.
