WILLIAMNAGAR: With a view to facilitate and support local entrepreneurs in packaging and processing food, Rajat Surva Das, a Kolkata-based food technologist and consultant, visited East Garo Hills from January 29 to February 1.
During the visit, he interacted with villagers and members of self help groups (SHGs) who underwent training in various food processing techniques and shared ideas and samples of packaging materials.
