Banteidor wife on PDF list for KHADC election

SHILLONG: The People’s Democratic Front (PDF) on Saturday released its third list of candidates for the upcoming KHADC elections with four names, including the wife of MLA/MDC and Cabinet minister, Banteidor Lyngdoh.
Lyngdoh, who is the MDC from Mawkynrew, will make way for his wife, Amanda Annette Pakyntein.
The others in the list are Patboone Syngkli from Nongpoh, Timing Lyngdoh from Mynsngat-Khanduli and Manbha Lyngdoh from Muthlong-Sohkymphor.
Till date, the PDF has named seven candidates for JHADC and 12 for KHADC polls respectively.
The PDF has so far announced the names of three women candidates – Pakyntein, Macdalyn S Mawlong, sister of Umsning MLA Jason Mawlong, and Teilinia S Thangkhiew, MDC of Mylliem and Deputy CEM of KHADC.
