Lajong to play in Nayanar Cup

Kozhikode: Air India will take on Kerala XI in the inaugural fourth Edition of Nayanar Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament where Shillong Lajong Fc will also participate.The first match would be played on Friday. Mumbai FC, Southern Samithi, Kolkata, Army XI, New Delhi, Lajong FC, Shillong, B N Railway, Kolkata and MEG Bangalore are the other premier teams participating in the 12-day-long journey being organised as part of the 20th Congress of the CPI (M) here. Following are the Fixtures: March 9: Air India vs Kerala XI, March 10: Mumbai FC Vs Army XI, Mar 11: MEG Bangalore vs Air INdia, B N Railway vs Kerala XI, Mar 12: Lajong FC Vs Mumbai FC, Mar 13: B N Railway vs Air India and MEG Bangalore vs Kerala XI, Mar 14: Lajong FC vs Army XI and Southern Samithi vs Mumbai Fc, Mar 15: MEG Bangalore vs BN Railway, Mar 16: Southern Samithi vs Lajong FC, Mar 17 Southern Samithi vs Army XI and first semifinals, Mar 18: Second semifinals and March 20: final.
