TURA: Much respite has come from the prevailing dusty conditions following a night of rainfall across Tura and other parts of Garo Hills on Friday. But with the rain came a drop in the temperatures as people rushed home to bring out their woolen garments.
The rain disrupted the ongoing celebration of the religious ABDK Soba as a continuous drizzle played truant during the service on Friday night.
Many had come to the venue without umbrellas and proper protection from the rain.
