Navy stops use of ROV at Ksan

SHILLONG: The Indian Navy on Saturday temporarily stopped the operation of ROV for periodic maintenance of the machine.
An official source said on Saturday the operation of the ROV is expected at the earliest after maintenance.
The CIL pumped for 34 hours since Saturday and the water discharged is 45,90,000 liters.
The Kirloskar also pumped 14,40,000 liters of water for 16 hours since Saturday while the KSB pumped out 63,36,000 liters for 32 hours till 5 pm on Saturday.
The NDRF continued to assist other agencies.
