TURA: The teaching staff including the Headmistress of the Khetadhowa SSA Upper Primary School in West Garo Hills has written to the District Mission Coordinator (DMC) alleging a particular teacher of procuring fake orders and claiming to be the head teacher of the school.

According to the teachers, a particular Hindi teacher claimed to have in his possession, two orders issued in the name of the then DMC, one in September 2018 and another in November of the same year. While the first order directed the Joint DMC of Dadenggre to release the salary of said teacher, the other was in connection with appointing him to the post of the Head Teacher.

Following the claims by their colleague, the teachers filed an RTI at the Office of the DMC, Tura and after getting its reply went through the office issue register where it was found upon careful cross examination that no such orders were ever issued by the office.

Following their findings, the teachers have submitted a complaint against the Hindi teacher to the West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner and the District Mission Coordinator in Tura urging both to take immediate action on the matter.
