Shillong College to play St.Anthony’s in cricket final

SHILLONG: On Friday the first semi final match of the NEHU Inter College Cricket (Men) Tournament 2018-19 was played between St. Anthony’s College versus K.L.Bajoria College. Batting first K.L.Bajoria College scored 130 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. In reply St. Anthony’s College scored 131 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. St. Anthony’s College won the match by 1 wicket. In the second Semi final played between St. Edmund’s College versus Shillong College. Batting first St. Edmund’s College put a score of 115 runs on board after losing all the wickets in 20 overs. In reply Shillong College also scored 115 runs in 20 overs. To decide the game, a super over is played between both the teams. Batting first Shillong College scored 11 runs in super over, in reply St. Edmund’s College could score only 5 runs. With this Shillong College defeated St. Edmund’s College by 6 runs through super over. The Final Match of the tournament will be played on Saturday at 8.30 am between St. Anthony’s College versus Shillong College.
