TURA: GHADC MDC from Kharkutta, Smit Momin has urged Power Minister, James K Sangma to look into the setting up of a full-fledged 33/11 KV power sub-station in Kharkutta area.
Momin informed that while power for Kharkutta area is currently drawn from the Mendipathar 33/11 KV Sub-station, the same is not satisfactory and poses problems for the people of the area.
“We appreciate the fact that the MDA Government is working for a better Meghalaya. The people of Kharkutta have faith in the government and believe that our problems will be looked into,” Momin said in his letter to the Power Minister.
