One arrested in burglary case

 SHILLONG: The police on Friday arrested one Reginal Jyrwa from San Mer, Upper Shillong for his alleged involvement in a burglary case at Laitjem village near Mawngap, East Khasi Hills.

According to police, the accused had managed to steal an total amount of Rs 58,000 from a house in Laitjem on Thursday afternoon.

Police also informed that they have also registered a case against the accused.
