HDFC opens branch in Khliehriat

 JOWAI: Union minister of State for Water Resources Vincent Pala on Saturday last inaugurated the new branch of the HDFC Bank at Khliehriat in the presence of Local MLA, Nehlang Lyngdoh, JHADC Chairman, Obil Kyndait, Khliehriat MDC, Welcome Dkhar, Sub-Divisional Officer in charge KHliehriat Sub-Division, CS Laloo besides Official of the HDFC Banks and other prominent residents of the area.

With the inauguration of the Khliehriat Branch the HDFC Bank, which is the second largest private bank in the country has touched 9 branches in Meghalaya and 63 branches in the entire North East.

Speaking on the occasion, Pala lauded the role and service provided by the Bank right from its Headquarter to Shillong branch and hopes that the service rendered by the bank will also be the same in Khliehriat and will benefit the people with a request to provide clean service to the people of this region.

Deputy Vice President & Cluster Head of North East, HDFC Bank, Ltd, Hemanta Bayan, in his welcome address assured that bank will serve the people of Khliehriat to the fullest and will keep the mutual beneficial relationship with them.

He also informed that the branch will offer the customers world-class banking services under one roof ranging from basic services such as Savings accounts, Fixed deposits, Current Account, Mutual Funds, Insurance, two-wheeler loan, auto loan, Tractor and commercial Vehicle loans to sophisticated Direct Access Banking channels such as ATM, Phone Banking, Net Banking and International Credit and Debit Cards.
