PM pays homage to Parrikar in Goa

Panaji: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Goa on Monday and paid floral tributes to Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar who passed away on Sunday after a long battle with cancer.
Modi left for Goa soon after the Union Cabinet meeting, which was convened to condole the demise of Parrikar.
Modi met the family of the 63-year-old former Defence Minister at the Kala Academy where his body lay in state.
He offered his condolences to the two sons and daughters-in-law of the late leader. (IANS)
