TURA: A victim of molestation has filed an FIR against the members of a Facebook group for uploading her photos and making inappropriate comments.
The woman in her report to the officer in charge of Tura police station against ‘The Times of Garo Hills’ claimed that the members had posted her maligning photos followed by inappropriate comments and updates.
The names of the members are Julian Salchime B Marak, Goera Ch Marak, Ringring Ganti, Wezy Sangma, Anna Mary Agitok, Arak Marak, Miura Marak and Lucian N Sangma.
The woman was recently molested by a Catholic priest in a night bus. The priest was later arrested.
Some social media users were supporting the accused.
