Section 144 imposed in WKH

NONGSTOIN: The District Magistrate, West Khasi Hills District has imposed an order under section 144CrPC in the district prohibiting loaded trucks from plying along Riangdo-Athiabari Road and Maweit-Nongstoin Road with effect from 10 am of April 9 to midnight of April 11 which will affect the free movement of polling parties and the public as well as the conduct of election.The order will come into effect until further orders.
