TURA: Tura police arrested a middle aged man on allegations of molesting a minor girl from within the town on Wednesday. A case was filed by the parents of the victim on the matter. According to police the incident occurred at about 9 am after which the parents went to complain against the accused.
He was arrested immediately after the FIR was filed at Tura Women PS. “He lured the victim on the promise of giving her sweets in his house after which he molested the victim. The girl was also taken for medical check-up.The culprit is about 50 years old,” stated the SP, Dr MGR Kumar.
