SHILLONG: Following an apology from Congress legislator Founder S Cajee, photo journalist Walton Lyttan, who had been assaulted by the former on Monday, has accepted the apology.

“Let bygones be bygones. I forgive Bah Founder for what has happened,” Lyttan said from his hospital bed on Thursday.

Lyttan however added that he had no intention to hurt anyone. “I did not use any foul language against the honorable MLA or made any comments that would hurt him or the people he represents,” he said.
