Shab- E Baraat
The secretary of the Muslim Graveyard has informed that the Shab- E Baraat festival will be observed on April 20 and people who wish to visit the graveyards can visit the same after 5 pm.
Festival
Sobujer Dol will observe Polia Boishakh, Bihu, Vaisaki, Gudi Padwa in Jail Road Puja mandap complex from 2 pm on Wednesday.
Ram Navami
Hare Krishna Movement will organise Ram Navami festival at Hindu Mission, (Gharikhana), G. S road, Shillong from 3 pm on Sunday. Ram Taraka Yajna, Abheshekam, Bhjanas, Kirtan and Prasadam distribution will be held.
Office bearers
Don Bosco College Tura Parents’ Association elected its new office bearers on Saturday. The newly elected office bearers are Subir Ghosh as president, Borothy R. Sangma is the vice president, Clara N. Sangma as secretary, Sendine Ch. Sangma is the joint secretary among other executive members.
