CM campaigns for NPP candidate in Silchar

SHILLONG: After the hectic election campaign in Meghalaya in the first phase of Lok Sabha polls held on April 11, NPP president Conrad Sangma started his campaign in Silchar on Saturday.
Nazia Yasmin Mazumder is the candidate of NPP to contest the Silchar seat for the election scheduled for April 18.
During the campaign, the Meghalaya Chief Minister sought the support of people highlighting the agenda of NPP. The candidate expressed her happiness for contesting from NPP and hoped that people will bring in a change.NPP’s immediate rival is sitting MP Sushmita Dev of the Congress.
