SHILLONG: A joint team of Madanrting police, traffic personnel and Anti-Narcotics Task Force on Saturday evening seized about 47 gm of heroin.
In this regard, three persons, who were travelling in a vehicle, were arrested after the car was intercepted in Mawblei. Police said that the catch is quite huge and the seizure and arrests were made when three persons were travelling from Madanrting side towards Smit.
The vehicle was intercepted by the traffic personnel on suspicion and the contraband was seized after thorough checking of the vehicle was done.
