London: Teen sensation Justin Bieber is facing legal action over a phone prank.

The 18-year-old posted a phone number on twitter with the last digit missing and told his 19 million followers on the microblogging site to call him, reported Sun online.

As fans tried to guess the remaining number, two Texans claim they were plagued with phonecalls from teenage girls at all hours of the day.

The tweet was quickly deleted but the two say the stunt was “reckless” and that the harassment continued.

The lawyer acting for the pair said her clients’ patience “wears thin” after receiving over 1,000 phone calls and they want compensation for all the problems caused by the prank.

They also suggest Bieber could make it up to the disgruntled duo with an apology, concert tickets and cash.

Meanwhile, the singer has reportedly splashed out on a USD 3.8million luxury home in California.

The 18-year-old snapped up a sprawling property in Calabasas, just north of Los Angeles – where his neighbours will include Steven Spielberg and Britney Spears, reported Sun Online.

The mansion features a swimming pool and guest house, alongwith a huge garage in which to keep his expanding collection of luxury cars, which includes a USD 100,000 customised Range Rover, a Batman-themed customised Cadillac, a Ferrari and a 72,000 pound Fisker Karma.

Bieber, who is dating former Disney star Selena Gomez, plans to install a computerised system to control blinds, lights, gadgets and even his bath tub with a remote control. He also reportedly wants a “teenage boy’s bedroom” with a raft of games consoles, arcade machines and a home cinema. (PTI)
