NONGSTOIN: The Office of the District Medical & Health Officer on Wednesday observed ASHA Diwas at Nongstoin Community Health Centre.
Speaking on the occasion chief guest Deputy CM Rowell Lyngdoh focused on ASHA services and lauded their work at village level.
Rowell also handed over the ASHA district award to Diana Thyrniang and also block awards to those ASHAs who put in their work hard in their services in block category.
Rowell also released two Ambulances, one in Mairang and one in Nongstoin Civil Hospital. One bus was also released for the staff and patients from Nongstoin market to Civil Hospital.
