Edufest 2019 gets under way in city

SHILLONG: The 17th edition of Edufest 2019 organised by Lynchpin kicked off at All Saints Hall on Friday.
Participants at the two-day event include Ashoka University, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Hindustan University, CEPT and Amity.
The fest will showcase courses ranging from management to engineering, media sciences to computer application, architecture to design and law and performing arts.
The fest offers the opportunity to parents and students to interact directly with the institution representatives with regard to qualification, cut-off required and scholarship opportunities.
“This is the 17th edition of Edufest, and we are privileged to once again bring leading educational institutes from India and abroad to the doorstep of students here,” said Kaushik Barua of Lynchpin.
“Our exhibitions are considered the most trustworthy by the student community and parents in the region as only accredited, top institutions from India and abroad participate in them,” he added.
These career fairs have benefited over 7 lakh students and parents over the years and is held in the Northeast and Siliguri in West Bengal apart from Bangladesh and Bhutan.
