SHILLONG: Aurobindo defeated Nongthymmai SC by 67 runs in a league match of the Super Division Shillong Cricket League played at Cricket Ground, Polo on Friday.
Nongthymmai bowlers made break throughs at regular intervals to restrict Aurobindo to a modest 148 for the loss of ten wickets after they were made to bat first. Sanjay (26) and Kundan (24) were among the top scorers for Aurobindo while Ravi grabbed three wickets. In reply, Nongthamai SC were bundled out for 81 runs in 15.1 overs. Rajesh and Subhash bagged three wickets each for Aurobindo.
