Nurses’ week
The Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI), Shillong Branch, will celebrate the Observation Day of the Nurses’ Week Celebration at NEIGRIHMS auditorium from 11 am onwards on May 13. Dr. A. War, Director of Health Services (MI) will be the chief guest and Dr G. Rangad, chief medical officer, Nazareth Hospital will be the guest of honour.
MUPSTA meet
The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association (MUPSTA), East Jaintia Hills has convened a general meeting at Government LP School, Khliehriat East at 10.30 am on May 4. The association has invited all teachers under its jurisdiction to attend the meeting to discuss its functioning.

Employees & Workers of Greater Shillong will ob-serve May Day at Parking lot opposite CTO Building, Shillong on Wednesday. The event will start with the hoisting of a flag at 9:30 am, workers’ rally foll-owed with May Day Procession is at 12:30 pm.
