United slump to another defeat

SHILLONG: UNited XI slumped to ywo defeats in a row after going down to Lawmalli by five wickets during a league match of the Super Division Shillong Cricket League played at Cricket Ground, Polo on Saturday. United won the toss and elected to bat first. But hte decison backfired as the United batters were bundled out for a paltry 137 in 37.3 overs. Jeffery (35) was the top scorer for United while Babloo Passah grabbed three wickets for Lawmalli. In reply, Lawmalli achieved their target in 27.2 overs. Ebormi scored 78 runs of 73 balls while Mark Ingty took three wickets for United.
