SHILLONG: The North West Garo Hills Senior Citizen’s Forum (NWGHSCF) has demanded the state government to upgrade the Dadenggre Sub-Division and creation of North-West Garo Hills District within the said civil sub division area .
In a statement issued here recently, NWGHSCF chief advisor Atul Marak said the demand is under process to be submitted to the chief minister soon which will be followed by open public meetings and public rallies in different places including at Dadenggre, Selsella (Haldibari), Shymnagar (Phulbari) and other areas.
The forum has also demanded the creation of a civil sub division within the Selsella Block area.
