SHILLONG: An awareness cum interaction programme was organised in the city recently with Supreme Court lawyer Jose Abraham as the resource person.
The programme was organised by Aequitas Legal Fraternity and was presided by the president of the fraternity, Dominic K Warjri
An interaction was also held between the lawyers and the Jose Abraham
On the same day, the PLC – North East India Chapter, was inaugurated in the presence of former deputy chief minister, Bindo Lanong, former law secretary, Government of Meghalaya, Wilfred Khyllep, former chairman of the Meghalaya Public Service Commission, Barnabas Nongbah, vicar general of the Diocese of Shillong, Rev. John Madur and a group of young and spirited lawyers.
