SHILLONG: A girl was killed and two others were injured in two separate road accidents in Ri Bhoi on Monday.
On May 6 around 3.45 pm, an accident took place between one scooty (ML-05L-6445) ridden by Larishisha Dohtdong and a Bolero (ML-10B-1286) at Umdohbyrthih, Shillong By-pass road.
As a result, the scooty rider and one pillion rider sustained injuries and were shifted to CHC Bhoirymbong.
Later, the rider was referred to Woodland Hospital in Shillong, where she was declared brought dead.
On the same day, around 8.45 pm, an accident took place between one car (ML-05J-1641) driven by David Raymond Syiem and one scooty (ML-05S-6294) ridden by Abjin R Marak at Umsning By-pass road.
As a result, the rider and the pillion rider of the scooty sustained injuries.
