Colombo: A series of cyber attacks have been launched against a number of Sri Lankan (.lk and .com) websites.
According to a News 1st report on Sunday, the website of a foreign embassy based in Sri Lanka has also been targetted through the cyber attacks.
TechCERT issuing a notice through Facebook recommends staying vigilant on monitoring system/Intrusion Detection System alerts.
The Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team(SLCERT), TechCERT as well as the Sri Lanka Airforce Cyber Operations command are working to control the situation. (UNI)
